Condensation Calculator

The new BDAS Condensation Calculator is now available. Designed as an aid for architects, the software will calculate the deposition between each layer of a roofing system (grams per square metre per 60-day period), and the thermal performance of the roof. Simply enter the material and thickness of each layer and the internal and external conditions and it does the rest.

Calculate Deposition Rates and Thermal Performance

At the touch of a button, the 60-day deposition at each interface can be calculated for any combination of layers and set of internal and external conditions, as can the U-value and thermal losses.

Plot the Deposition Between Layers

The software can automatically plot graphs of the level of deposition at each interface in a roofing system over a 60-day period. Select whether to view only positive (problematic) depositions or all values. See screen-grab above.

Plot Temperature Profiles

The easy-to-use temperature profile feature allows the user to see the interface temperatures at any point through the system. Again, these plots are generated automatically.
